Usa money coming to Algeria

U.S. Under Secretary of U.S. Department of State Assistant to the Foreign Trade Asraell Hernandez here today that U.S. investments in Algeria last year reached five billion dollars.
Hernandez said at a press conference today that the U.S. companies showed great interest in the Algerian market, noting that there are intensive contacts with the Algerian government to open direct air link between the two countries.
He pointed out that Algeria is ranked 23 in the list of the most important economic partners for the United States and to highlight the trade deficit for the Party in the United States.
He stated that his country will catch up this deficit through the introduction of American products out in the Algerian market with the arrival of U.S. companies new to Algeria and expand the market for investment in Algeria to sectors outside of the fuel.
The U.S. official confirmed the importance of transparency in business and economics, property protection and the adoption of a flexible trading system.
